Post-Kriya Integration Tips
Feeling a bit unsettled after yoga class? That’s totally normal and totally okay.
Sometimes kriya yoga practice can stir old emotions and reveal new patterns. If you're feeling ungrounded, try the following:
Rest if you feel tired or spacey. Some shifts can feel like emotional hangovers.
Drink water and eat whole foods. Energy moves faster when you’re hydrated and well-nourished.
Journal if something stirred you emotionally and you need clarity on it.
Repeat a mantra that anchors you, like I am here now.
Take a walk in nature. Let your nervous system discharge into the earth.
Come back to class next time if you feel called. Don’t go just because you feel obligated. Sometimes, integration takes time and everyone’s journey is different.
